1. General Provisions
1.1. The Service Provider acts as an authorized representative of the Client (as a registrar or reseller) in the registration of domain names.
1.2. The contractual relationship regarding the domain is formed between the Client (registrant) and the Registry of the respective top-level domain (e.g., Eesti Interneti SA for .ee, ICANN for gTLDs).
2. Registration and Deletion
2.1. The registration of a domain is considered complete when the domain has been entered into the Registry database.
2.2. No Right of Withdrawal: Domain registration is a service that is considered fulfilled at the moment the Registry entry is made. The Client has no right to withdraw from the order or demand a refund after the order has been fulfilled.
2.3. Exclusion of Liability: In the event of the deletion, suspension, or transfer of a domain pursuant to the Data Protection Act or a court order, or at the request of the top-level domain Registry (e.g., ICANN, EIS) (for example, due to incorrect contact details), the Service Provider is not liable for this decision or the resulting consequences.
2.4. The Client is responsible for the timely renewal of the domain. After the domain expires, an activation and/or restoration fee may apply, the amount of which depends on the Registry’s price list.
3. DNS and Name Servers
3.1. The Service Provider offers the Client a name server (DNS) management service.
3.2. Client’s Responsibility: The Client is fully responsible for the content and correctness of the DNS records (A, MX, CNAME, TXT, etc.). Incorrect DNS records may cause services (website, e-mail) to malfunction.
3.3. Upon termination of the service agreement, the Service Provider has the right to delete the DNS zone of the Client’s domain, rendering the services associated with the domain inaccessible.
4. Special Terms for Top-Level Domains
4.1. The Client undertakes to comply with the rules and dispute resolution policies of the respective top-level domain Registry:
- .EE domains: Eesti Interneti SA rules (www.internet.ee).
- .EU domains: EURid rules (www.eurid.eu).
- .COM/.NET and other gTLDs: ICANN rules and rights (www.icann.org/resources/pages/benefits-2013-09-16-en).
4.2. In the case of generic top-level domains, the Client is obliged to ensure the correctness of contact details (WHOIS) and respond to verification emails. If this requirement is ignored, the Registry has the right to suspend the domain.
